My Cinderella

My Cinderella
Mirror Mirror what do you see?
A little girl crying or is it just me
A tear streaks down that little face
On that little girl in all the lace
Mirror Mirror what do you see
That teenager looking back at me
Is the pain still there, oh can you tell
That little girl is doomed to hell
Mirror Mirror what do you see
That young lady can’t you see
Married and pregnant happy as can be
Mirror Mirror what do you see?
An older woman, with some wrinkles
Who still has their teeth.
Still as lovely as she’ll be
Mirror Mirror what do you see
That same little girl, can’t you believe
All grown up, that’s for sure,
Has she changed from the girl I once knew?
Or is that girl still looking at you?
