Rocking chair

Rocking chair
Oh rocking chair painted up white
From years of torcher, in the sunlight
Now lazy you sit and rock some more
Rocking front to back
At the screen door
Twine that binds the seat and the back
Basket weaved that’s scratchy to touch
Old and porous full of dust
Like dandruff in hair, cracks in the wood
Oh rocking chair you still feel good.
